Thanks for a Great Symposium!
Thank you to everyone who came out to our annual Symposium, and special thanks to Rebecca Murday, Maria Makar, and the Events Committee for coordinating the Symposium! The Symposium opened up a dialogue on campus about one of the most pressing issues of our time. The Symposium featured experts from a variety of backgrounds, including Brian Manookian, the plaintiff’s attorney who orchestrated the largest class action lawsuit ever in a wiretapping claim against Google, Jaime Williams, part of the civil liberties team at the Electronic Frontier Foundation, Adam Bookbinder, from the Massachusetts’ US Attorney’s Office Cyber Crime Unit, University of Michigan’s Professor John Cheney-Lippold, and Seth Kosto from the Massachusetts’ US Attorney’s Office Cyber Crime Unit.
